Events

Luau - Hale Koa, 19 or 21 Oct,

The evening begins with a customary lei greeting, accompanied with a complimentary tropical beverage. Then take part in cultural demonstrations while enjoying island melodies by local musicians. As the conch shell sounds, it signals the presentation of the pua'a (pig) at the imu ceremony. You are then escorted to your table to enjoy a delicious 3-course served dinner featuring local favorites including Kalua Pork, and yes the Hawaiian favorite, Poi.

Then sit back and relax as you journey throughout Polynesia to experience the grace, intrigue, and invigorating music and dances of the South Pacific. It’s an unforgettable event that can't be missed.

Squadron Dinners
Wednesday 20 Oct or Thursday 21 Oct

You are on your own to arrange this. For groups larger groups, you will want to call at least a week in advance. For nicer places, consider a month in advance.

Dining Options, not just for squadron dinners:

Eating House 1849 in the International Market Place. Ume Glazed Grilled Pork Bao Buns, Manila Clams, and Paella are tasty.

Roy's in Waikiki - popularized the Misoyaki Butterfish

Jade Dynasty in Ala Moana - accommodates parties banquet style

Waikiki Food Hall - many dining casual dining options

Vien - get multiple dishes to share; however, uni carbonara and the lamb are standouts. Prefix menu is highly recommended

Aloha Kitchen for breakfast - famous for their souffle pancake. However, I am serious, get the local breakfast Portuguese sausage, eggs, and rice at McDonalds.

Duke's often has live music. Hula Grill has good seafood.

Liliha Bakery in the International Market Place is great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you are hungry, get the Loco Moco with Fried Rice.

The date and venue should confirmed about Oct 2026. The convention center is being renovated which is putting a squeeze on all of the meeting and ballrooms in Honolulu.

We hope to confirm the Monarch Room in the Royal Hawaiian by October 2026

Dinner - buffet

Music - Paradise and Co. - the best party band on the island has been confirmed
